Hahahaha, they really don't care do they - after all you did grow those Toms(?) just for them didn't you! We have a lot of hens and they have free run during the day which means alot of poop all over the place and scratched up beds - I can't help but smile when they leave an egg present on top of my electric cutter though lol Bizarre hens!
I would love our hens to leave eggs somewhere interesting. I don't mind the chickens scratching around in the borders where plants are established since they do a fine job of weeding.
Oops - tomato flavoured or red eggs?
ReplyDeleteNow that would be a novelty!
DeleteNevermind, they're a cute couple!
ReplyDeleteThey are very cute. The garden wouldn't be complete without them.
DeleteNaughty chickens.
ReplyDeleteExactly.
DeleteCheeky things. I think you'll have to fence the tomatoes off.
ReplyDeleteI thought I had! Seems that the girls are more accomplished at flying than I gave them credit for.
DeleteCheeky little buggers.
ReplyDeleteIndeed!
Deletehaha - you weren't supposed to see that!
ReplyDeleteI had been wondering where all the empty tomato skins were coming from!
DeleteOh yes we have seen a lot of guilty chickens around our far lately LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I grow enough tomatoes for a lot of guilty chickens!
DeleteBusted! Cute chickens.
ReplyDeleteI actually felt guilty for chasing them away from the tomatoes.
DeleteNaughty step !!
ReplyDeleteBoth our dogs can do 'guilty' and 'sheepish' as soon as they are caught out !!
Why, what's the step done? ;-)
DeleteSome dogs are great at looking sheepish. Our dog just looks stroppy, which is most disappointing.

DeleteThat made me smile :)
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased it did!
DeleteAre you sure its not just raising money for Comic Relief Red Nose Day.
ReplyDeleteThat's the best excuse yet!
DeleteBusted! That feathered bandit :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how many tomatoes a chicken can get through!
DeleteThat is a familiar sight here too! CT :-)
ReplyDeletePerhaps we should stick to growing yellow tomatoes.
DeleteNot guilty.....ok we are! Now where's the lettuce?
ReplyDeleteFollow the slugs... you'll soon find it ;-)
DeleteCute little critters, though!
ReplyDeleteThey are - I wouldn't be without them.
DeleteCaught in the act! But at least they have good taste. :o) They're beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat taste! Tomato 'Cherry Belle' is delicious!
DeleteI think they deserve a tasty snack, considering all the good fertilizer they provide for you!
ReplyDelete...and their bedding makes a super addition to the compost bin!
DeleteThey are too cute and thus they have every right to those cherry tomatoes :-)...
ReplyDeletePerhaps I should grow some tomatoes just for them next year.
Deletebut who could possibly resist such lovely looking tomatoes!
ReplyDeleteThey were an excellent variety. Thankfully they were also quite heavy cropping!
DeleteThey are - and they get along so well.
